Choose an Atlas
CONVENIENT SIZE SELECTION
Confirm Your Size Without Worries
How We Help You Choose the Right Size
When ordering an Atlas in silver or steel, we send you three size options in ATLAS+, free of charge, for you to confirm your size.
One size above and one size below your originally chosen size. This way, you can confirm your size and immediately start using your ATLAS+ while your metal one is being made.
You also receive two pillow boxes, so you can gift your unused sizes to a friend or colleague.
When ordering ATLAS+ on its own, the same thing happens. You receive three sizes along with two gift boxes.

How should a tailor’s thimble fit?
A Three Step Guide for Confident Size Testing
1. Warm up your hands
When you work with your hands, the increase of bloodflow will warm them up and make them swell a little. When testing the size of your thimble, make sure you do so with warm hands. If necessary, hold your hands under warm water for a minute to achieve a similar effect.
2. Put your thimble on correctly
Place your Atlas upside down on a flat table. Insert your finger while pushing down on the table. Your finger tip should more or less be touching the small opening at the top. The gap between the top opening and your finger should be minimum.
3. Use the gentle shake test
Hold your hand in front of you with your wrist naturally falling down and your fingers pointing at the floor. Gently start shaking your hands left and right with a loose wrist. The correct size will stay on your finger for a long time.
A large thimble will fall off immediately. A small one might stay on your finger if its firmly gripping it. But you will also have a large gap between your finger tip and the top opening.
Do not skip warming up your hand. A cold and dry hand might not grip the inner wall of the thimble well, even if the thimble is the right size. You can even blow some air inside your thimble to give it some additional grip.
